Riley Brennan joins the University of Hartford Women’s Lacrosse Program after serving in both assistant and head coaching positions at American International College from 2018-2022, and as an assistant for the Longmeadow High School Girls Lacrosse Program from 2023-2024.
At AIC, Brennan worked primarily with the offense. Under her leadership, the Yellow Jackets produced two of the best offensive seasons in program history, including 162 goals in the 2018 campaign, the third most in team history. In 2021, Brennan coached 4 All Conference Players; 2nd Team All-Conference Goalie, 2nd Team All-Conference Midfielder, and two All-Rookie team members.
At Longmeadow High School, Brennan assisted in back-to-back trips to the state tournament. In 2023, the team made an impressive run eventually falling in the Sweet 16, and the Elite 8 in 2024. Longmeadow High School Girls Lacrosse graduated 2 USA Academic All-Americans in 2023, and 2 USA Lacrosse All-Americans in 2024.
Prior to her coaching career, she was a five-year member of the American International College women’s lacrosse team, serving as captain in her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. She ranks third all-time in goals with 119 and eighth in points with 135 and was a 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-District First-Team selection.
Brennan graduated from AIC in 2017 with a degree in Liberal Arts. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Education from AIC in 2018.
