AT HARTFORD
2026: Zonin had a breakout season for the Hawks in 2026 being named the CNE Offensive Player of the Year as well as a 1st Team All-Conference selection. Kate ended the year with a team-high 73 goals to go along with 17 assists for 90 points. She added 69 draw controls, 20 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers. The sophomore is the first ever major conference award winner in program history. Zonin was also named to the All-Hawk team for the 2025-26 school year. Kate's first breakout game came on March 12th at Keene State College scoring a career-high eight goals in a win over the Owls. She added nine other five-plus point games throughout the season. Zonin registered a career-high 11 points on April 22nd against Suffolk University scoring seven goals to go with four points in a 16-6 win over the Rams. Kate would also score an overtime winner on April 25th against the University of New England to give Hartford a 12-11 win in the CNE Playoffs. Zonin sits 3rd in program history in points (109), 3rd in career goals (90), and 8th in career draw controls (69). 

2025: Zonin made her debut for the Hawks in attack and midfield. As a freshman she appeared in all 19 games. She netted 17 goals, added two assists for 21 points, and posted a sharp .833 SOG%. One of Zonin's standout performances came on April 15th against Wentworth, where she scored five goals in a 19-5 victory. Due to her performances the week of April 14th totaling up to six goals, two assists, and eight points, she earned CNE Rookie of the Week honors. Defensively, Zonin contributed with 16 ground balls and one caused turnover.

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Graduate of North Smithfield High School, where Zonin was a 2024 All-State selection, two year All-Division First Team and a All-Division Second Team choice. Kate was also a two year team captain.
