Biography

AT HARTFORD
2024: Jenkins started in all 20 of Hartford’s games in her graduate season, recording 1,566 minutes, the fifth most on the Hawks. Jenkins tallied 65 points on 27 goals and 11 assists to go with six game-winners in her graduate season. Imani would score her program-record 61st career goal on September 18th against Roger Williams. On October 9th, Jenkins would record her 152nd career point against UMass Dartmouth, breaking Jessica Reifer’s 29-year record. Jenkins tied her single-game high in goals on October 15th, when she scored four goals in Hartford’s 8-0 win over Nichols College. Jenkins scored twice in Hartford’s Conference of New England (CNE) Final victory over Gordon College and added three goals and four assists in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Playoffs, as the Hawks would repeat as ECAC Champions. Jenkins would finish her career with 80 goals and 194 points. Jenkins earned back-to-back Conference of New England (CNE) Offensive Player of the Week honors on September 16th and September 23rd. Jenkins earned Conference of New England (CNE) All-Conference First Team honors and was named CNE Offensive Player of the Year. Jenkins earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors. Imani was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team and earned United Soccer Coaches All-American and Scholar All-American Honors. She was also named to the 2024 Academic All-America First Team by College Sports Communicators. Jenkins earned All-ECAC First Team honors.

2023: Jenkins started in all 18 of Hartford’s games in her senior season, logging 1,383 minutes, the second most on the team. Jenkins would finish the season with 33 goals and 82 points, both program records. Jenkins set a new program record on October 25th, when she recorded her 63rd point of the season against Southern Maine. Jenkins broke Danielle Korbmacher’s 1998 record for most goals in a season on November 11th, when she scored four in the Hawks ECAC Semifinal win against New Jersey City University. Giving her 30 career goals. Jenkins added a hat trick in the ECAC Final, as the Hawks defeated Pitt-Greensburg 6-0 to win the ECAC Title. Jenkins was named Most Valuable Player in the ECAC after recording seven goals in the tournament and ECAC Offensive Player of the Year. Jenkins was named to United Soccer Coaches All-Region First Team. Jenkins earned CCC All-Academic Honors. Jenkins was awarded College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors and All-American Honors. Jenkins was named to the United Soccer Coaches Women’s Scholar All-East Region Second Team.

2022: Jenkins started in all fourteen games for the Hawks in her Junior season, logging 1,228 out of a possible 1,260 minutes, the fifth most for Hartford. Jenkins led the Hawks in goals with 14 and recorded five multi-goal games. Jenkins four assists were tied four second most on the team. Jenkins was named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division 1 Women’s All-Atlantic Region Second Team.

2021: Jenkins started in all sixteen appearances she made for Hartford in her sophomore season, logging 1,374 minutes, the sixth most on the Hawks. Jenkins scored her first collegiate goal in the Hawks season opener on August 19th against Delaware State. Jenkins recorded her first collegiate assist on September 2nd against Merrimack College. On September 5th, Jenkins would record her first multi-goal game, scoring both of Hartford’s goals in a 2-1 victory against Lafayette. On September 12th, Jenkins recorded her first career hat-trick, scoring all three goals for the Hawks against Siena College. Jenkins was named America East “Rookie of the Week” in back-to-back weeks for these efforts. Jenkins would also earn America East “Offensive Player of the Week” honors on September 13th. Jenkins would finish her season tied for the most goals on the Hawks (6), and second in points (15) and assists (3). Jenkins was named to the America East “All-Rookie Team” and earned America East Commissioners Honor Roll for maintaining a 3.5+ GPA.

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Jenkins attended Middletown High School for three years and played one season at Capital Preparatory Magnet School in Hartford. Jenkins recorded 37 goals and 12 assists as a freshman. Jenkins was named a Central Connecticut Conference All-Conference in 2016. Jenkins played club soccer for Oakwood Soccer Club, leading the team to an 8-0-0 record in 2019-20. Jenkins is the daughter of Larry Jenkins, who was a member of the Hartford Hawks Men’s Basketball team from 1984 to 1988.
