Kyle Moser enters his first year as a volunteer assistant track and field coach at the University of Hartford ahead of the 2024-2025 season.
As a student-athlete Kyle competed at the University of Hartford from 2022-2024 following his transfer from Wentworth Institute of Technology. In three years at Wentworth, Kyle was the school record holder in outdoor shot-put (15.13 meters) and still holds the school record in the weight throw (13.80 meters). There he was also recognized for numerous awards including multiple all-conference team honors, 2x CCC Field Athlete of the Week, 2022 CCC Field Athlete of the Year, 2022 USTFCCCA All-Region Team, and 2022 USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors.
Upon joining the Hartford track and field team in 2022, Moser made an immediate impact shattering the previous indoor shot-put school record with a throw of 15.78 meters and the outdoor shot-put record with a throw of 15.25 meters. Along with still holding the school record in both the indoor and outdoor shot-put, Moser is on the Top 5 all-time lists in the weight throw (14.35 meters, Â #3 all-time), hammer throw (48.48 meters, #2 all-time), and discus throw (43.10 meters, #5 all-time). At Hartford, Kyle was recognized with 2024 USTFCCCA NCAA DIII Mideast All-Region Honors, 2024 CCC Academic All-Conference Honors, and 2024 University of Hartford Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Kyle joins the staff following his 2024 graduation from the University of Hartford with a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering. As well as coaching Kyle is studying for his master's degree in prosthetics and orthotics.
