Biography

AT HARTFORD
2025: 
Smith capped off her senior season for the Hawks at midfield, playing in all 19 games. She finished with 78 goals, adding 22 assists for 100 total points with a .824 SOG%. Her standout performance came on May 3rd in the CNE Championship against Endicott where she had nine goals and 11 points total in a close 25-19 loss. Defensively, she made her presence known by fielding 34 ground balls, 12 turnovers caused, and 125 draw controls. Smith etched her name in Hawks history by becoming the leader in single season draw controls (125), career draw controls (215), single season goals (78), and career goals (132). She earned a spot on the CNE All-Conference Second Team for her performances this season. Meghan was also the first Hawk to be recognized as a Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Offensive Player of the Week doing so on March 11th. She was also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. 

2024: Smith started 13 games for the Hawks in 2024. Meghan ended the year with 25 goals and seven assists to go with 45 draws and 16 ground balls. Smith's best game came on April 24th against Curry College scoring four times to go with a pair of assists in a 21-6 victory. Meghan added four more hat tricks on the season on February 27th at Simmons University, against Nichols College on April 3rd, at Endicott College on April 6th and against Wentworth Institute of Technology on April 10th. 

2023: Smith started all 11 games for the Hawks in her first season. Meghan ended the year with 29 goals and seven assists to go with 45 draws, 17 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. Smith had her best collegiate game on March 15th against Colby-Sawyer scoring five times to go with an assist in a 20-6 win. She added another five-goal game on March 11th at FDU in a 13-12 victory. Meghan added four more games with at least three goals on the season starting on February 22nd against Clark (four goals, two assists), followed by February 25th against Mount St. Vincent (three goals), against Westminster on March 17th (four goals and two assists), and finall against Keene State University on April 11th (four goals). 

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Graduate of Amity Regional High School, where Smith was a All-SCC First Team selection and a team captain for lacrosse and basketball teams.
