WEST HAVEN, CT - The University of Hartford lacrosse team dropped a 13-3 decision at Yale University Tuesday night at Johnson Field.
Tyler Casertano had three goals and four assists and Christopher Kempner hit the net three times and dished out one assist as Yale improved to 3-4 on the season. Hartford dropped to 2-6 overall.
The Bulldogs (3-4), whosled 8-1 atshalftime,sdominated every category despite competing in a turnover (44) fest. Yale had more shots (45-24) and ground balls (35-29) while winning 17 of the 20 faceoffs.
Hartford will look to rebound against Binghamton University on Saturday, April 1 at Al-Marzook Field. The game is scheduled for 1 p.m.
