LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – The University of Hartford volleyball team swept the Siena Saints in a non-league road match Tuesday evening (29-27, 25-20, 25-21). The Hawks were led by senior outside hitter Sareeta Nethersole, recording her fifth straight double-double and 14th of the season with 14 kills and 19 digs.
Nethersole finished errorless on 28 attempts with 14 kills for a .500 hitting percentage while freshman Katy Henchy and junior Chandler Goodwin added seven kills apiece. Senior setter Jackie Tamburri contributed 32 assists to the Hawks offense while matching Nethersole's .500 hitting percentage with three kills on six attempts.
Defensively, the Hawks were dominant at the net recording a new three-set season high with eight overall blocks and 12 block assists. Senior middle blocker Kathryn Gawrych led the Hawks with two solo blocks and three block assists. Nethersole extended her double-double streak with her 19 dig performance while Corinne Horanzy contributed 14 digs to the Hawks overall 55.

· As a team, the Hawks finished with a new three-set season high eight blocks and 12 block assists.
· Senior outside hitter Sareeta Nethersole recorded her 14th double-double of the season extending her streak to five.
· Sophomore outside hitter Corinne Horanzy recorded a game best 10 digs in the first set to finish with 14 overall.
· Senior setter Jackie Tamburri finished with her 12th straight 30+ assist game of the season.
· Nethersole recorded a new season personal best in hitting percentage (.500) and errors (0).
SET BREAKDOWN
SET ONE
· Tamburri led the Hawks throughout the first set posting a .667 hitting percentage on two kills in three attempts while adding 15 assists.
· The Hawks played their best defense with 22 digs and three blocks.
· Nethersole added six kills at the net followed by Henchy with five.
· Defensively, the Hawks were led by Horanzy with 10 digs and Gawrych with a solo block.
SET TWO
· As a team, the Hawks saw their best offense posting a .286 hitting percentage with 13 kills on 35 attempts and three errors.
· Nethersole led the Hawks with four kills on eight attempts for a .500 hitting percentage.
· Gawrych added three kills at the net.
SET THREE
· Goodwin led offensively with five kills on an errorless 11 attempts for a .455 hitting percentage.
· Nethersole added four kills on eight attempts for a .500 hitting percentage.
