Paola Llerandi, who played their final home contest for the Hawks.

Lauren Kornmann led all players with 12 kills for the Bearcats, while Gaby Alicea added nine. Alicea, Bianca Anderson and Kristella Morina each had four blocks in the victory, while Bailey Walker led all players with 16 digs.

SET-BY-SET
• The first set was even out of the gate, with the Hawks holding a 10-9 edge following a
Katy Henchy kill. Binghamton then rallied for three-straight points before another Henchy kill put the Hawks back within one. BU then rolled off eight straight for a 20-11 lead, and held off a late Hawks charge for a 25-18 triumph.
• The Hawks got out to an early lead in the second as well, moving ahead 6-4 following a Henchy kill. But the Bearcats embarked on another pivotal run, again delivering eight straight to move ahead 12-6. Hartford chipped away, using kills by Bridges and
Olivia Rougeau to trim it to 15-12, but that was as close as the home squad would get, as BU took another 25-18 victory for a 2-0 lead.
• The third set saw each team put forth substantial runs, see-sawing back and forth to an 11-8 Binghamton lead after an
Astrid Mangual ace. But once again, the visitors had the pivotal run, posting eight of the next nine points for a 19-9 lead. Hartford was able to get as close as 21-15 following a Bridges and Rougeau block, but BU finished off a 25-16 victory.
