THE LEAD:Lexi Wilkerson's RBI single gave the Hartford softball team an early 1-0 lead, but Marist rallied from behind to earn a 4-1 victory on Sunday in Florida. It marked the final game of the Hawks' Spring Break trip to the Sunshine State.

Jenice Aloyo each delivered two hits in a losing effort for the Hawks. Maureen Duddy went 3-for-4 with three runs for the Red Foxes, while Kyrsten Van Natta went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Megan Beiermeister earned a complete-game victory, allowing one run in seven innings of work for Marist.
HOW THEY SCORED:• The Hawks struck first when Wilkerson brought home Dazalla, who singled to start the game, with an RBI single to right.
• Marist got a run back in the bottom of the first, with an RBI fielder's choice off the bat of Van Natta.
• Both Beiermeister and Hawks starter
Bianca Ross put zeroes on the board over the next several innings.
• Marist tallied the eventual go-ahead run in the bottom of the fifth on a Van Natta RBI single to score Duddy and make it 2-1.
• The Red Foxes plated a pair of insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth, one on an RBI double by Duddy and the second on a throwing error, to make it 4-1.
