  • The Wildcats struck early in the first half. In the 17th minute, New Hampshire's Antonio Colacci sent in a free kick into the box, that Josh Bauer tapped past a diving Jimmy Slayton from five yards out.
  • New Hampshire extended their lead in the 29th minute, when Siggi Geirsson sent in a cross to the right of the box, that a charging Robin Schmidt tapped in to put the Wildcats up 2-0.
  • Freshman Aitor Elena had the Hawks best opportunity in the first half when he sent a shot from inside the box, but New Hampshire Keeper Andrew Pesci kept it out of the back of the net.
  • New Hampshire added to their lead early in the second half. Bauer netted his second goal of the night, when we headed in a corner kick from Colacci, putting the Wildcats up 3-0.
