SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Hartford dropped the final game of its west coast swing, falling to UC Santa Barbara, 14-0, Sunday evening.

Chris Sullivan each had a double, as the Hawks fell to 0-3 on the year. Eric Yang went 3-4 with two RBI, as the Gauchos improves to 5-2 on the season.

UC Santa Barbara was in the driver seat from jump, scoring eight runs through the first three innings. Tommy Jew and Kyle Johnson led the charge for UC Santa Barbara as they both hit home runs in the early going. The Gauchos pitching was also stellar on the day, allowing zero runs on three hits.
NEWS AND NOTES
- Sophomore James Judenis (0-1) got the start and pitched two innings, allowing five earned runs on seven hits and struck out one
- Pagan continued his strong start to his Hartford career, finishing the day with his first double of the year. Through the first three games he is batting .417 with five hits.
- Thrasher has also played well for the Hawks through the first three games, leading the team in batting average (.556), RBI (3) and doubles (2)
