WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The University of Hartford Department of Athletics is sponsoring a fan bus for the women's basketball team's America East Championship game appearance against Maine at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine the department announced Thursday morning.
 
The fan bus is free and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Game tickets are $20 for a reserved seat and $5 for students. Reservations for the bus will go live at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13 through the box office. For more information or to reserve your seat call the Hartford Athletics box office (860-768-HAWK) or e-mail Jim Bataille (BATAILLE@HARTFORD.EDU).  Seating is limited to the first 50 people that sign up and the deadline to reserve your seat is noon on Thursday. Seats are expected to fill prior to that time.
 
The bus will depart from the BACK of the Sports Center (Lot M) at 10 A.M. on Friday, March 15. The bus will travel to Bangor for a team send-off from the team hotel prior to heading to the arena. In order to ensure on-time arrival, there will be no stops on the way to Bangor. Packing a lunch is encouraged. The bus will depart Bangor immediately following the postgame trophy presentation, regardless of game outcome.
 
This marks the second consecutive America East Championship matchup between Hartford and Maine. Tip off is set for 5 P.M. Friday on ESPN U.
