WEST HARTFORD, Conn. –For the second straight game, Hartford baseball walked off against UAlbany, 7-6, in America East action Sunday afternoon.
Junior
Zachary Ardito was 2-4 with a triple and three RBI, as the Hawks improved to 2-10 overall and 2-1 in America East play. Junior Marc Wagenstein finished with a double and two RVI, as the Great Danes moved to 4-8 on the year and 1-2 in the conference.

With the game tied, 2-2, in the fifth inning, the Hawks scored three runs to take a 5-2 lead. Highlighting the inning was an RBI triple by Ardito, scoring sophomore
John Thrasher.
UAlbany answered in the eighth inning, tying the game with three runs. The Great Danes then took the lead in the ninth on an RBI double by redshirt sophomore Josh Loeffler, plating redshirt junior Kevin Donati and giving UAlbany the 6-5 lead.
For the second straight game, Hartford rallied to take the game in the ninth inning. With runners at second and third and one out, junior Bryce Walked took advantage of a wild pitch and scored from third to tie the game. Ardito came to the plate next and finished off the game, singling up the middle and giving the Hawks their second conference win of the season, 7-6.

- For the second-straight game, Ardito had the game winning RBI after forcing a bases loaded walk in yesterday's 6-5 win against the Great Danes
- Nowak (1-1) earned his second-straight win of the season in relief, pitching the final 1.2 innings, allowing one unearned run on two hits and striking out one
- Junior Nik Pagan hit his second home run of the season, a two-run bomb in the fourth inning
