WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Hartford baseball fell to Bryant, 23-3, in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon at Fiondella Field.

Ashton Bardzell went 2-4 with two doubles and two RBI, as the Hawks fall to 2-11 overall. Junior Gaby Cruz finished with two doubles, a triple and four RBI, as the Bulldogs improved to 9-9 on the year.

Bryant wasted little time getting on the board, scoring seven runs in the top of the first. Highlighting the inning for the Bulldogs was a two-RBI double by Cruz followed by a two-RBI triple by senior Tyler Panno.
Hartford scored its only runs of the game in the bottom of the third and the fifth behind two RBI doubles by Bardzell and senior
Chris Sullivan scoring on a wild pitch.
The Bulldogs finished with 23 total runs, moving back to .500 with the 23-3 victory.
