WEST HARTFORD, Conn. –Hartford baseball took home its sixth win of the season, topping instate rival Yale, 11-7, in non-conference action.
Junior
Zachary Ardito went 3-4 with a triple and three runs scored, as the Hawks improve to 6-12 overall. Sophomore Teddy Hague and junior Dai Dai Otaka each had two RBI, as the Bulldogs fall to 8-12 on the year.

With Yale ahead 5-3 in the fifth, Hartford exploded for six runs in the bottom of the inning to take a 9-5 lead. Senior

The Bulldogs threatened in the top of the ninth, loading the bases with one out and the Hawks leading 11-7. Freshman
Will Nowak entered the game and got the final two outs in order, striking out sophomore Cole Shelton and forcing freshman Pierce Blohowiak to ground out the second basemen, wrapping up the midweek win for Hartford.

- Sophomore James Judenis started the game for the Hawks, pitching four innings and allowing one run on five hits and striking out five
- Redshirt-Sophomore Alex Moconyi (1-0) earned his first win of the season, allowing four run on five hits
- Sullivan, Bardzell and Carmody each finished the game with two RBI
- This is Hartford's second consecutive victory against Yale
