BALTIMORE, Md.. –Hartford baseball dropped the final game of the team's three-game series with UMBC, falling, 8-2, in America East action Sunday afternoon.

Chris Sullivan tallied the team's only RBI,as the Hawks fall to 13-22 overall and 7-5 in America East play. AJ Wright finished with a game-high four RBI, as the Retrievers improve to 19-18 on the season and 5-10 in conference play.
UMBC 8 HARTFORD 2
For the second time in the series Hartford scored the first run of the game to take an early 1-0 lead. After junior
Zachary Ardito doubled to left field and then advanced to third on a wild pitch, Sullivan stepped in and grounded out to first base, bringing the run across.
UMBC scored five straight runs after the first inning before the Hawks halted the run in the fourth. With the bases loaded, Hartford took advantage of a wild pitch, plating Sullivan and makin the score 5-2.
The Retrievers would however tack on three more runs to take the game and series, 8-2.
