Tuozzo Scores Twice as Women's Lacrosse Falls at Boston University

BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman Shannon Tuozzo scored a career-high two goals, as women's lacrosse fell to Boston University on the road, 22-4, on Sunday afternoon. The Hawks drop to 0-2 on the season while the Terriers improve to 2-1.

The Terriers struck eight times within the first nine minutes before Birdie Montes put Hartford on the board with a goal at the 21:11 mark. BU responded with five straight goals to take a commanding 13-1 lead into the break.

Shannon Tuozzo gave Hartford its second goal of the game almost immediately out of the break from the free position. However, the Terriers scored four unanswered goals to put the game out of reach.
