Baseball Falls to North Florida, 7-2, in Series Finale

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Tim Dickson and Tyler Coppo drove in a run apiece, as Hartford baseball fell to North Florida on the road, 7-2, in the series finale on Sunday afternoon at Harmon Stadium.

The Hawks fell to 3-3 on the season with the loss, while the Ospreys avoided the series sweep and improved to 3-7 with the win.

The game remained scoreless until a Dickson sacrifice-fly in the fifth inning gave Hartford a 1-0 lead. However, the Ospreys responded by tallying a combined seven runs over the next three innings to take a commanding 7-1 lead. Coppo's RBI single in the ninth cut the deficit to five, but it wasn't enough as the Hawks ultimately fell, 7-2.
