DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The Hartford men's golf team continues its 2020 spring slate with a trip to the Sunshine state to compete in the Lonnie Barton Invitational on Monday. The two-day event will take place at LPGA International, in Daytona Beach, Fla.

HARTFORD NOTES
- All 10 members of the Hawks' 2019-20 roster will be playing across the two-day tournament
- Junior Ryan Tomaso, who posted a pair of top-10 finishes during the fall slate, led the Hawks at the Loyola Intercollegiate, finishing in a tie for 63rd place
- Tomaso closed out the tournament with an even-par 72 in the final round to finish with a 5-over 221 (74-75-72)
- Classmate Matthew Schwab, who combined for a 9-over 225 (77-74-74), was the second finisher for Hartford ending the weekend in a tie for 82nd
- Also closing out the third round with an even-par 72, junior Eric Evanstied for 90th with an 11-over 227 (82-73-72)
- Tomaso posted a team-best 73.64 stroke average over 14 rounds in the fall, while Evans was second with a 74.29 average in seven rounds
NEXT ON TAP
Hartford takes a month-long hiatus before returning to Connecticut for the UConn Intercollegiate. Held at the Ellington Ridge Country Club in Ellington, Conn., the three-day tournament begins on Thursday, April 9.
