Freshman Thomas Webley is Hartford's first-ever recruit from New Zealand, hailing from Christchurch. The center has landed quality minutes in the front court for the Hawks, averaging 3.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 15.1 minutes per game over 14 appearances. Earlier this season, Webley was named the America East Rookie of the Week (Dec. 7) after he combined for 23 points and 13 rebounds in three games, including a career-high 10 points in Hartford's 80-65 win against in-state rival Central Connecticut on Dec. 4.
