WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — The University of Hartford Department of Athletics will host its annual awards show to honor student-athletes and their accomplishments, both on and off the field, this week. The Hawks Choice Awards are set to begin virtually on Wednesday, June 9. 

Award winners will be announced "live" each evening on the Hartford Hawks' official Twitter page (@HartfordHawks), beginning at 7 p.m., with nightly recaps being provided later each evening on Facebook (@HartfordAthletics) and Instagram (@HartfordHawks).

The Hawks Choice Awards will be spread out over three days, kicking off with the Department's academic awards on Wednesday (June 9). The show will continue with the SAAC awards on Thursday (June 10), a set of awards that are modeled after the ESPY's and are voted on by Hartford's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. The final day of the Hawks Choice Awards will be on Friday (June 11), with the announcement of the Department's major awards.
