Hawks Top Dartmouth, 1-0

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Hartford men's soccer team picked up its second victory of the season, earning a 1-0 decision against Dartmouth Tuesday night on Al-Marzook Field. The teams battled through 82 scoreless minutes before junior Addrian Knights-Browne netted the game-winner on a brilliant assist by freshman Patrick Gryczewski. Hartford improved to 2-6-2 on the season, while Dartmouth fell to 0-6-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Freshman Olivier Sylvain gained possession near midfield and lofted a long entry pass to Gryczewski, who cut back inside and hit Knights-Browne at the top of the box. Knights-Browne lifted a shot to the top left corner, just out of the reach of Dartmouth goalkeeper Alex Budnik, to give the Hawks the lead.

The Big Green ramped up the pressure in the game's closing minutes, tallying three corner kicks and three shots after Knights-Browne's goal, but couldn't break through. Hartford goalkeeper Rotem Fadida finished with five saves in the game to earn his second shutout of the year.
