Hawks Fall At Sacred Heart

Connally and Nkenchor Combine For 25 Assists

FAIRFIELD, CONN. – Hartford volleyball dropped a road match in three sets ( to Sacred Heart Sunday evening in the William H. Pitt Center.

Junior outside hitter Uzezi Ijoma led the team with 9.5 points, including nine kills on the night. Freshman setter Kylee Connally contributed 15 assists while junior setter Lika Nkenchor provided 10 assists. Both setters added five digs each.

Senior outside hitter Greta De Gasper made major contributions with 13 digs and six kills. Additionally, the combination of senior middle blocker Sara Gasparotto and freshman middle blocker Sydney Luchs denied Sacred Heart five times.

Hartford now returns home to Chase Arena to host Smith College. The match will be streamed live on Hartford Hawks All-Access. First serve is set for 7 p.m. Friday.
