WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Hartford volleyball fell in three sets (22-25, 23-25, 22-25) to Smith College Friday night at Chase Arena.

Senior outside hitter Greta De Gasper put on a clinic with 14 digs and 8 kills. She also added an ace and a block.

Senior outside hitter Sara Gasparotto provided four blocks, including two solo. Gasparotto added four kills, four digs and two service aces.

Freshman setter Kylee Connally amassed 14 assists. This is Connally's sixth time in eight matches to provide double-digit assists.

With the loss, the Hawks fall to 1-17 on the season. Smith College improves to 14-6.

Hartford returns to action Thursday against Eastern Connecticut. First serve is set for 7 p.m. in Chase Arena. Doors will open at 6 p.m. For those who unable to attend the game, it can be viewed live on Hartford Hawks All-Access.
