HAMPDEN, Mass. – Manuel Romero continued to lead the Hartford men's golf team through another tournament Oct. 2-4 as the Hawks finished 12^th at the UConn Invitational at Great Horse Golf Course.

In a strong field which featured several Big East Conference teams, Romero powered his way into the top 50 with a score of 74 his final day. Kyle St. Pierre had a stellar first round, placing himself into the top 15 after finishing with 75

The Hawks now rest up during a long break. The next time they hit the fairways will be Oct. 23-25 when they go to Kilmarlic Golf Course in Powells Point, N.C. for the Outer Banks Intercollegiate hosted by Old Dominion University.
