OLD BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The Hartford men's golf team continues its 2022 spring campaign at the LIU Shark Invitational. The two-day event tees off on Monday at the Brookville Country Club in Old Brookville, N.Y.

- The Hawks are coming off a third-place finish at the Hartford Wintonbury Hills Invitational
- Leading the way was the reigning Big Sky Golfer of the week, Ryan Tomaso
- Tomaso shot a 1-over 71 in both rounds to tie for fifth place
- The graduate student currently leads the team with a 73.83 stroke average
- Danny Frodigh ended with a strong closing round, posting a 1-over 71 to finish in a tie for seventh
- Sophomore Conor Byrne had the best round of the tournament for the Hawks on the final day, posting an even 70 to finish in a tie for ninth
- Byrne is current second on the team with a 74.13 average, while Jared Winiarz trails closely behind, posting a 74.21 stoke average

The Hawks return to action on Saturday, April 15 for their final tune-up before the Big Sky Championships. Hartford heads to nearby Yale for the Yale Spring Open, held at the Course at Yale.
