Men's Soccer Falls to Merrimack

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Junior goalkeeper Rotem Fadida recorded a career-high 11 saves as the Hartford men's soccer team fell, 4-0, to Merrimack on Sunday afternoon. With the result, the Hawks drop to 0-2 on the young season while the Warriors improve to 1-1.

Merrimack came out of the gates strong, scoring twice in the opening 10 minutes of the match. The Warriors would look to add one more two minutes later, but goalkeeper Rotem Fadida made an incredible double save to deny the hosts. However, the Warriors found the back of the net again in the 32nd minute, taking a 3-0 lead and carrying the advantage into the halftime break.
 
The Warriors would carry its momentum into the second half, increasing the lead to 4-0 in the 59th minute. The deficit would ultimately prove too much for the Hawks, as Merrimack took home the victory, 4-0.
