DOVER, DEL. – The Hartford volleyball team battled hard, but came up short in three sets against Delaware State Saturday at Memorial Hall Gym.
NOTES & HIGHLIGHTS: Senior setter
Lika Nkenchor served four aces, notched 10 assists and added four kills. Senior middle blocker
Sara Gasparotto added three service aces. Senior outside hitter
Greta De Gasper added seven kills and four digs.

Greta De Gasper led the team notching three kills.
SET TWO: Nkenchor started off the second set with two service aces. After falling behind 4-2, Hartford stormed back with a 6-1 run to take an 8-5 lead. From here, the two teams fought back and forth. Hartford would ultimately succumb after a 6-1 Delaware State run late in the set.
SET THREE: Senior middle blocker
Sara Gasparotto recorded two consecutive aces. De Gasper and freshman outside hitter
Isabella Labrada notched two kills each. Nkenchor racked up five assists.
