SACRED HEART 2, HARTFORD 0
The opening quarter of the match featured a back-and-forth battle in the midfield, as both teams tried to gain the advantage. Rodrigo Levy would try his luck from outside the box in the 11th minute, but his effort was saved by the Sacred Heart goalkeeper. The Pioneers wasted little time to fire off a shot of their own, but Joshua Snyder made an outstanding save down to his left, keeping the game scoreless. Snyder would come up clutch again in the 23rd minute, making an outstanding double save to prevent the Pioneers from opening up the scoring.

Sacred Heart would be reduced to 10 men in the 25th minute, as Asa Moskowitz collied with Snyder, picking up a red card. Alex Quinones would fill in for the Hawks in goal because of the play. The match would go quiet after the stoppage in play as neither side could break through the opposing defense. The Hawks would generate a great chance late in the first half as Demario Cameron's header from a corner was well saved by the Pioneer's netminder. Sacred Heart looked to break quickly after the Hawks chance, but Quinones made an incredible reaction save from point-blank range, denying Sacred Heart the chance to open the scoring and keeping the game leveled at 0-0 entering the halftime break.

The second half featured another back-and-forth affair as both teams traded scoring opportunities, but neither found the back of the net. Mevlan Lebiti would have the best chance in the 60th minute, rifling a free kick on frame, but his shot was well saved. However, it would be the Pioneers who opened the scoring, taking a 1-0 lead in the 64th minute. Sacred Heart would later double their advantage in the 81st minute and the deficit proved too much as Sacred Heart took home a 2-0 win.
