The University of Hartford women's basketball coach Polly Thomason is announcing a 25-game schedule for her second season leading the Hawks.

Hartford will begin the season with a pair of home games, hosting Williams on November 12 and Northern Vermont-Johnson on November 15. The Hawks will have a total number of 13 games inside the Chase Family Arena.
 
The 2023-24 season will be the inaugural foray into NCAA Division III action.
 
"The release of our basketball schedule is an exciting time for our program," said Thomason. "With a full slate of Division III and CCC games, this season marks a new era in Hartford Women's Basketball. We have some tough matchups ahead, but our team is up for the challenge. We look forward to seeing our fans in the stands and making this season a memorable one."
 
After back-to-back road games in mid to late November, the Hawks will step into Commonwealth Coast Conference action, hosting Nichols 5:30 p.m. November 29.
 
Hartford will play a full slate of Commonwealth Coast Conference opponents, however, those games will not officially count toward the CCC standing in the 2023-24 season.
 
Two more road CCC games begin the month of December before Hartford steps away from the CCC for three straight games, hosting Bryant & Stratton (December 9) and Queens College (December 30), and traveling to Villa Maria (December 11).
 
Back-to-back home games against Western New England (January 4) and Endicott (January 6) begin the calendar year. The Hawks have home games against Suffolk (January 17), Gordon (January 20), Wentworth (January 27), Roger Williams (January 31), Curry (February 10), and the University of New England (February 17) as the season wraps up.
 
Hartford returns three players – junior Lenaijah Ferguson, sophomore Paige Loughman, and sophomore Siena Hallberg. The Hawks will have eight freshmen on the roster.
