PREVIEW: WSOC Begins Stretch of Three Straight Home Games

The University of Hartford women's soccer team begins a stretch of three straight home games to conclude the regular season 1 p.m. Saturday, hosting Commonwealth Coast Conference foe Nichols.

HARTFORD QUICK HITS
  • The Hawks are scoring a little more than five goals per game against Commonwealth Coast Conference opponents. Hartford's 5.0 goals per game lead the CCC.
  • Hartford is ranked 25th nationally and second in Region II in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) poll. The Hawks are second in the Massey Ratings.

SCOUTING NICHOLS
  • The Bison are coming off a 1-0 loss to Western New England on Thursday.
  • Nichols is ninth in the conference with 17 goals.
  • Alana Snow and Natalie Gray have combined for four goals each to lead the team. Snow also has an assist for a team-high nine points.
  • Four players have contributed two assists for Nichols.
  • Adie Hughes has appeared in 14 games with 12 starts. She has allowed 21 goals on 105 shots. The 6.0 saves per game lead the Commonwealth Coast Conference
