AMHERST, MA – The University of Hartford volleyball team stepped away from Commonwealth Coast Conference opponents and fell to Amherst in four sets, 25-12, 18-25, 25-18, 25-23, Saturday at LaFrak Gymnasium.
Freshman
Zahara Quraishi finished with her fifth double-double of the season with 23 kills and 10 digs. She has tallied at least 15 kills in five straight matches, including registering at least 20 kills in four of the last five.
INSIDE THE BOX AND NOTES
- Sophomore Kylee Connally distributed a career-high 25 assists. She has recorded at least 20 assists three times this season.
- Five different Hawks finished with at least 10 digs, led by freshman Jordan Murphy's 14. Senior Kionah Thomas added 13, while sophomore Isabella Labrada recorded 12 digs.
- Labrada finished with a team-high four blocks, while freshman Jenna Murphy added three blocks.
