Hawks Falls to Framingham

The University of Hartford men's soccer team fell to Framingham State Sunday, 3-0, at Al-Marzook Field.
 
Hartford's defense was solid in the second half, holding the Rams to just three of the team's 13 shots. 
 
Framingham State would break the deadlock in the 17th minute, and three minutes later, the Rams would look to add to their lead as they scored a goal in the low left corner of the net. Framingham scored their third goal in the 29th minute of the game, which was netted in the center of the net.

  • Six different Hawks took a shot today, led by Nicholas Castrovinci – who came off the bench to launch a pair of shots. Four of Hartford's shots were on goal.
  • Sophomore Ryan Lunn started and played in the first half, allowing three goals on five shots. 
  • Sophomore Mauricio Vega-Estades subbed in at half, making four saves while only letting one in.
  • The Hawks took five corners, while the Rams took four.
