Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

WSOC cruises to win over ENC

Eight different players scored for the University of Hartford women's soccer team as the Hawks recorded the 9-0 win over Eastern Nazarene Wednesday in non-conference action on Al-Marzook Field. 

Freshman Kathleen Brush was the only Hartford player with multiple goals, scoring twice on the day, pushing her season total to eight. Freshman Morgan Egan and senior Elise Enquist scored their first career goals in the victory. 

The Hawks scored five in the first half with sophomore Mayson Massaro, senior May Cervone, Egan, Brush, and graduate Victoria Jedrycowski all finding the back of the net. 

Hartford put away three goals early in the second half as senior Imani Jenkins, Brush, and senior Christina Stone scored, and it was 8-0 in the 60th minute. 

Sophomore Mira Mahmoud (2-1) didn't face a single shot in recording a clean sheet. 

INSIDE THE BOX & NOTES
  • The nine goals were the second-most in school history, done five other times including another time this season. 
  • Hartford has scored 22 goals over the last three games.
  • Stone had three assists to push her CCC-leading total to 11. 
  • Massaro earned her first game-winning goal of the season as no Hartford player has more than one. 
  • Hartford outshot the Lions, 44-2, with 22 of the shots being on frame. Neither ENC shot was on goal.
