HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Hartford women's lacrosse team remains undefeated after taking down Emerson College, 20-15, on Monday. The Hawks improve to 4-0 on the season while the Lions dip to 1-2 on the year.
HARTFORD 20, EMERSON 15
FIRST HALF
Hartford opened the contest outscoring Emerson 5-1 in the first quarter with help from
Lily Belle Baker scoring a hat trick for the second consecutive game and third time this season. Hartford extended its lead to 11-5 after trading goals back-and-forth throughout the second quarter. Five Hawks combined to find the back of the net in the second, including Baker,
Meghan Smith,
Courtney Ingham,
Sara Costa and
Kelly Hoxie.
SECOND HALF
Coming out of the halftime break, both sides would go back-and-forth once again playing to a 17-9 decision heading into the fourth and final quarter. Despite being outscored 6-3 in the final 15 minutes of the game, Hartford would hold on to earn its fourth win of the season.

- Baker and Hoxie led Hartford's offense with four goals each.
