The University of Hartford volleyball team fell in straight sets, 25-17, 26-24, 25-19, to Endicott – the reigning Commonwealth Coast Conference champions – Saturday inside the Chase Family Arena.
Hartford had early leads in all three sets, but ultimately, couldn't manage to hold off extended scoring runs from the Gulls.
Sophomore Isabel Labrada led the team with 11 kills on 34 attempts with four errors, while freshman
Zahara Quraishi added nine kills on 19 attempts and two errors.

Kylee Connally spent most of the time as the setter and finished with a season-high 21 assists. It was the first time this season she dished out at least 20 assists.
INSIDE THE BOX & NOTES
- For the fourth time this season, Quraishi finished with double-digit digs, recording 12 in the match.
- Hartford made a concerted effort to get some offense from the middle blockers as graduate Hannah Pena and freshman Jenna Murphy had 22 attempts. It was just the second time, and first since the opener, Pena had more than six attempts.
- Pena added a team-high three blocks.
- The Hawks have lost five straight after a season-opening victory.
