Box Score DUDLEY, Mass. – The University of Hartford men's basketball team fell to first-place Nichols 77-64 Tuesday inside the Nichols Athletic Center.
After shaking off a slow to pull to within two points with five minutes remaining, the Hawks saw Nichols close the half by scoring 20 of the last 26 points to take a 16-point lead into the locker room.
Nichols tallied the first nine points of the game and led by eight with 8:20 remaining. The Hawks scored 10 of the next 14 points that got them to within two.

Stephen Akwiwu led the way with 16 points and eight rebounds, while graduate
Trayon Rumley finished with 15 points. Freshman
Jaylen Brown added 11 points and freshman
Kaosi Chijioke finished with 11 rebounds.
