MILTON, Mass. - The Hartford women's soccer team moved to 2-1-1 in Conference of New England (CNE) play on Saturday defeating Curry College by a 3-0 final. 

Rapid Recap:

• Graduate student Imani Jenkins (Middletown, Conn.) kicked off the game in style scoring in the 2nd minute to give the visitors the early edge. Sophomore Kathleen Brush (Wethersfield, Conn.) quickly doubled the score in the 6th minute with a left-footed blast from outside the 18-yard box. The Hawks continued to dominate possession in the first half with Brush getting two more shots which were saved by Hannah Correa for the Colonels. Curry had one corner kick in the first half, but zero shots as the Hawks led 2-0.
• Curry had their first shot to kick off the second half, but junior Sejal Johnson (Weddington, N.C.) made the save on the header. Brush then moved the lead to 3-0 on her second goal of the day in the 59th minute. The Colonels would only get one final chance with a shot in the 84th minute, but Johnson held on for the clean sheet win.

Inside the Numbers:

• Brush scored two goals for the second-consecutive game to up her season total to six on the year. 
• Jenkins picked up her 12th goal of the year in the win, she currently sits second in the CNE.
• Johnson made two saves for the Hawks in her fourth shutout of the season. 
• Hartford out shot Curry College 25-4 with a 9-2 on target differential.

The Hawks will continue to be on the road taking on Nichols College on Tuesday with a 3:00 p.m. start.
