Hartford was not done getting the sixth goal in the first half as Brush powered a shot from outside the box past a diving Leopard to put the exclamation point on the 6-0 first half. Post Game Press:
"I think the set the tone for the whole game and really got our momentum up", said senior
Juliana Chiarella (Hampden, Mass.). "We went into the game very hype and ready to give it our all for senior night. I am the only senior but we also have three graduate students who make a huge impact on the team, so it just got us on the right foot. I think we wanted to keep us keep the level up throughout the whole game instead of keeping it in the first half the second half was great as well. We were able to keep the level as high as we could. I think we just have to stay focused and not let our guard down because Gordon is a good team. They put up a good fight but we're ready to get that win."
