BOSTON, Mass. - The University of Hartford men's soccer dropped their second Conference of New England (CNE) match on Saturday falling to Suffolk University by a 2-0 final.

- The Rams kicked off the game with the first scoring chance in the 9th minute as Matthew Belluardo had his shot stopped by junior Ryan Lunn (Southington, Conn.). Freshman Kyle Theobald (Sandyston, N.J.) had the first chance for the Hawks in the 17th minute, but his attempt was saved by Nathan Harlow. Ford Lee added an attempt on target in the 18th minute, with Lunn picking up his second save of the game. The Hawks escaped without a goal on the board later as the Rams put three shots with two saves and a post shot keeping the score knotted at 0-0. Suffolk had one final opportunity in the 44th minute, but it was saved as we headed to the second half 0-0.
- After another save by Lunn, Hartford went on the counter attack as sophomore Austin Murawski (Rocky Hill, Conn.) and graduate student Alex Quinones (Bedford, N.H.) each had chances that went just wide. The Rams countered with the first goal in the 68th minute as Diego Pierantozzi bested the Hawks defense on assist by Dominic Rinaldi. The lead blossomed to 2-0 in the 87th minute as Fransico Valck beat Lunn assisted by Pierantozzi and Belluardo as the Rams went on the win by the 2-0 score.

- Lunn made a season-high seven saves in the loss.
- The Hawks were out shot by the Rams by a 27-9 margin and a 9-2 on target differential.
