Freshman Aidan Ezra notched his first career hat trick as the University of Hartford men's lacrosse team fell to UMass Boston Saturday 13-11 at Al-Marzook field 

Ezra scored a goal in the first and third period. He added an assist to Aidan Kemp in the fourth period 

UMass Boston raced out to a 4-0 lead, and never trailed. The Hawks were able to close the gap 8-5 at the half, and got as close as one goal by scoring three of the first goals in the third quarter. but ultimately fell 13-11 in the final minutes of the game

• Hartford finished with 35 shots,  while  UMB had 37 shots with 24 on goal 

• Hartford finished with four assists on 11 goals, while the Beacons had four assists on 13 goals 

• Hartford was 2-3 in extra man opportunities, while UMB finished 3-3 

• Graduate Jake Ojert, freshmen Nicholas Forgione and  Maxton McPhee each registered a pair of goals 

• Sophomore John Furino scored his first goal of the season 

• The Hawks were 25-26 in clear attempts while UMass Boston was 31-33 in clear attempts 

• Sophomore Aidan Kemp tallied a goal and an assist
