BIDDEFORD, ME - Graduate Jake Ojert and freshman Aidan Ezra notched a pair of goals as the University of Hartford men's lacrosse team beat Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent, the University of New England, 8-1 Saturday at Blue Bolt Field.
Ojert scored goals in the third and fourth periods, while adding an assist to junior Ryan Varano in the first period. Ezra scored goals in the first and second periods.Â
Hartford raced out to a 3-0 lead and never trailed. The Hawks were able to extend the gap to six goals at the half and got a comfortable seven-goal lead to end the game 8-1 in the final minutes.Â
