Pitching, Timely Offense Lead to Sweep of Reigning Champs

GAME ONE: HARTFORD 4, ENDICOTT 1
Sophomore Carly Mayhood (6-2) struck out a career-high 11 in seven innings on just two hits as the Hawks took the first game. It was the second double-figure strikeout game of her career.

Hartford used the longball to secure the victory as junior Olivia Wolk and graduate Mara Sczecienski went back-to-back in the third inning. Freshman Alexis Sealey opened the inning with a single and scored ahead of Wolk's two-run bomb.
