The University of Hartford's women's lacrosse team scored five unanswered goals at the onset of the first period to seize control of the game en route to posting the 21-6 victory Wednesday over Curry College on Al-Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium.
Senior Lenaijah Ferguson notched four goals along with three assists to lead the Hawks' potent offensive attack. Junior Meghan Smith added six points, four goals, and two assists, Graduate Lily Belle Baker tallied seven points, three goals, and four assists, while freshman Madison Olmstead recorded five points, three goals, and two assists.
Sophomore Sara Costa rounded out a quartet of Hawks who scored at least three goals, finishing with four goals on the day.
Hartford rounded out the scoring by tallying 12 of the final 14 goals.
Graduate Hanna Ramsey defended the Hawks between the pipes, finishing with five saves to help secure the victory.
