Box Score Huntingsdon, PA. – Senior Lenaijah Ferguson was responsible for 50 percent of the Hartford scoring as the women's lacrosse team fell in the ECAC Championship Wednesday May 8th with a 16-4 loss to Juniata College.
The Hawks started the game tied 1-1 thanks to a goal from Laurel McIntosh. Juniata College was able to answer back with three more goals of their own to win the first period 4-1. It was a shutout in the second period that allowed the eagles to take a 8-1 lead entering the half. Ferguson's pair of goals came towards the second half of the game,notching a goal in the third and fourth to bring Hartford within 10 goals, however it was not enough as the Hawks fell 16-4 in the final minutes of the game.
