BEVERLY, Mass. – Junior
Meghan Smith was responsible for 75 percent of the Hartford scoring as the women's lacrosse team had their four-game winning streak come to an end Saturday with the 20-4 loss to Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent Endicott.
The first of Smith's trio of goals came five minutes into the game, pulling the Hawks to within one goal, 3-2. It was the Gulls that took over from there with 17 consecutive goals as Hartford was held scoreless for the second and third periods.
Smith wrapped up the scoring with a pair of goals in the fourth period. Freshman
Laurel McIntosh scored Hartford's only other goal.

- Leading scorers – Madison Olmstead and Lenaijah Ferguson – were limited to three total shots.
- Hartford was just 12-of-21 on its clear attempts, while the Gulls were 19-of-21. Endicott also held the 17-10 advantage in draw controls.
- All four goals were unassisted, two coming on free-position attempts.
