The University of Hartford baseball team lost to Eastern Nazarene College, 15-8, on Sunday afternoon at Fiondella Field.
Eastern Nazarene took control of the game, overcoming a five-run deficit, by scoring 12 runs over the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings.
The Hawks held a commanding 8-3 through five innings.
Freshman James Hinspeter opened the first inning with a double, and following a walk to freshman Payton West, senior Jake Santiago registered a two-run triple. Santiago tallied the third run of the inning, scoring on a strikeout.
Hartford extended its lead with three more runs over the next two innings. Back-to-back RBI singles by Santiago and freshman Devin Bowen etended the Hartford lead to 5-1. In the third inning, sophomore Jackson Ciccone, who opened the inning with a triple, scored on a ENC error.
The final two Hartford runs in the fifth inning with a West sacrifice fly and sophomore Jeremy Mangiameli single.

None of Hartford's seven pitchers pitched three or more innings. Teague Mulcahy was the lone hurler that didn't allow a run, pitching a scoreless night.

Both Mangiameli and Santiago extended their hitting streaks to six games.
