MIDDLEBURY, VT This morning began round 2 of the Duke Nelson Invitational hosted by Middlebury College at the Ralph Myhre Golf Club. After two days of competition, The Hawks come out of the 40th Annual Duke Nelson Invitational with a second place finish, trailing first place Hamilton College by only two strokes. 

How it Happened:
The Hawks began play this morning with 11:00 AM tee times. Hartford was represented again by freshman Ethan Archibald (Heath, TX), freshman Nathan Tallinder (Madison, NJ), and seniors Jack Ritchie-Roux (Capetown, South Africa), Kyle St. Pierre (Shelton, Conn.) and John Guerrera (Farmington, Conn.). Tallinder finished the day as the 3rd overall competitor scoring a 72 in today's round as well sa yesterday's putting him at a total of 144 (+2). Guerrera shot up the player leaderboard this afternoon, finishing today's round with a 71, and total score of 146 (+4) and placing T5th for all players. Ritchie-Roux shot up the board as well as he moved up 11 spots with his 75 stroke performance this afternoon, bringing his total to 152 (+10) and securing him T27th.

By The Numbers:

• Guerrera jumped up 10 spots on the player leaderboard, and finished with the Hawks' best overall score from both days (71)
• Tallinder finished with a team-high 5 birdies in his second round.
• 4 of Hartford's players finished in top-50 of all scorers.

Hartford will return to the constitution state next weekend to host the Gilette Ridge Inivitational at Gilette Ridge Golf Club.
