PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Hartford Men's Soccer hit the road to take on the Wildcats of Johnson and Wales University. After 90 minutes of action, the match would result in a 0-0 draw. 

Rapid Recap:

• In what would be a battle of defenses, Hartford would string together an early attack with a shot coming from senior Nick Castrovinci (Roxbury, N.J.) in the eighth minute. Both defenses would stand strong, as this would be the only shot from either team for the rest of the first half. Both teams would earn a handful of corners, however.
• The Wildcats would come out with a strong offensive attack firing off three shots in the first ten minutes of second half action. The Hawks would come with another scoring opportunity in the 81st minute, with a shot coming from senior Alex Foligno (Middletown, Conn.) which would end up being saved by Johnson and Wales' Alexander Nardolillo. Johnson and Wales would try to come back with a late minute attempt, which would end up being blocked by the Hawk defense, and time would expire with both teams scoreless.

Inside the Numbers:

• Castrovinci and Foligno would finish with both shots for Hartford at one each. 
• Senior Ryan Lunn (Southington, Conn.) would finish with three saves for the Hawks in 11 shots faced, and not allowing a goal.
• The Hawks would be out-shot 11-3, with 3 shots on goal for the Wildcats and one coming from the Hawks. 
• The match would be a physical battle as Hartford would finish with eight fouls, and 10 from Johnson and Wales.
