BEVERLY, Mass. - On Thursday the Conference of New England (CNE) announced their 2025 Men's Golf award winners, and All-Conference Teams, of which six Hawks were named.
Head Coach Pete Stankevich was named as the CNE Coach of the year, for the 2025 Season. Freshman Zack MacMillan (Torono, Ontario) was named as Rookie of the Year as well as being named to the CNE All-Conference first team. Freshman Griffin La Londe (Montclair, N.J.), freshman Tim Kaley (Dalton, Mass.) and freshman Manolo Vargas (Medellin, Colombia) were selected to the All-Conference second team. Junior Jake Miller (Townsend, Mass.) was named to the CNE Community Service team.
MacMillan played in all of Hartford's tournaments so far, most notably shooting a +2 over his two rounds in the CNE Championship, and placing second overall.
LaLonde also has made appearances in all tournaments played by the Hawks this year, placing sixth overall in the Conference Championship, with a low score of -2 in the first round.
Kaley also played in all tournaments for Hartford, placing sixth in the CNE Championship, shooting +6 over both rounds.
Vargas has made appearances in all tournaments so far for the Hawks, placing 9th overall in the CNE Championship, shooting +7 over both rounds.
Rounding things out, Head Coach Pete Stankevich was named as the CNE Coach of the year. Stankevich entered his 18th year at the helm for the Hawks, and this is his first award under the Conference of New England.
Miller has played in one tournament for Hartford in the Battle at Bull's Bridge, where he placed 16th overall with a score of 85.
